Praying for them individually before school each morning.
Yes, so important Bethany!
I bake a lot of homemade goodies.
Me too, Leela! And I have such fond memories of the goodies my mom used to bake for me!
We forget sometimes the simpilist and easiest things make a huge impact to our kids.
Definitely, Cathy! I heard once that just 15 minutes of fun out of a day can have a significant impact on creating wonderful memories for our kids. It was such an encouragement to me, as I often don’t feel like a very “fun” mom.
I take the time and really listen to how their day went
I love this Marci! It cultivates such a strong and secure relationship!
I try to tell my son every day that I love him.
So powerful Paula! Our words matter!
I try to listen with my whole attention to my children. I also do Family Childcare and and I do this with the children that come to my childcare. Some of these children are here for twelve hours a day and they need someone who will listen to just them and know that what they say to me matters. They also will talk to my own children because they feel safe here.
That’s amazing Susan! What a ministry!
Apologizing when I sin against them whether due to being distracted by other duties or cranky due to adulting. I love them and God so I seek their forgiveness.
Yes, admitting when we are wrong and seeking forgiveness is so important!
I show love for my children every day by preparing their meals.
Definitely a labor of love!
I just make sure to stop and listen to them.
Such a beautiful thing!
