Local Experiences

As homeschool moms, we spend A LOT of time with our kiddos (which we LOVE…mostly). Some of the greatest gifts we can give homeschool moms are local experience memberships or tickets for the family. Help us go on new adventures together as we explore the world around us. Some ideas might include:

Local art & science museums

Zoo or Waterpark Passes

Indoor Play Areas

Theater or Concert Tickets

A New Planner

There are tons of great planners out there. Many people like Erin Condren or Happy Planner, but my personal favorite is Plum Paper. They have a homeschool teacher planner I get as a Mother’s Day gift to myself each year (seriously!). I love how customizable it is! We school year round, so I start my planner in May and end in April. They have multiple layouts and sizes to choose from, and tons of great additional features. I like to get the monthly prayer and reflection pages to keep track of prayer requests and answered prayers. There’s also tons of features specific to homeschoolers, like grading logs, curriculum planning, field trip logs, goals, attendance record, and so much more! Plus, I love how durable the planners are and how well they hold up. I put our yearly theme scripture on the front cover when I design it. And NO, I’m not an affiliate or anything, I seriously just love this planner and know the homeschool moms in your life will too! Learn more HERE.

Subscription Boxes

As homeschool moms, we’re constantly looking for creative new activities to enjoy together. Subscription boxes are a great way to express your love and appreciation for homeschool moms all year long (or even just for a few months–depending on your budget)!

We all love getting gifts in the mail, so a subscription box blesses us again and again! And there are so many amazing ones to choose from these days! Here are just a few ideas for you…

They offer a HUGE variety of boxes for all ages and you can select 3, 6, or 12 month subscriptions. I personally love the STEM boxes and the book boxes with related activities. Also, their arts and crafts boxes are phenomenal.

Universal Yums

This is a fun way to explore culinary delights around the world! And they are easy to gift, with boxes as low as $15/m and options to send 1, 3, 6, or 12 month subscriptions.

Raddish Kids

This is something I really want to start with my own kids! I’ve got a friend using it and she loves it! Each box includes 3 recipes, a kitchen tool, table talk, and various kitchen skills. You can select 1, 3, 6, or 12 month subscriptions.

We have used these in the past and my kids loved them! You can choose the appropriate age range and they come with a handful of different activities, crafts, etc.

Books, Books & More Books

Admittedly, we homeschool moms tend to geek out over all things book, curriculum, office supplies (laminators, label makers, colored pens, etc.), and homeschool organization tools (shelves, bins, etc.).

You can never go wrong getting us gift cards to our favorite local bookstore, homeschool supply center (like Rainbow Resource), or Amazon so we can go crazy with all the books and tools that bring us joy!
