What I loved:
Judy shares her struggles and strengths in a natural and conversational way. She had me in tears one minute and laughing the next.
My favorite feature is the “heart connectors” section at the end of each chapter. Judy provides simple ways to strengthen your relationship with your kids that I just love! She also has great questions for reflection, encouraging scriptures, and thoughtful prayers for each chapter.Â
The chapters are all packed with powerful, practical tools to help you become a better mother, strengthen your marriage, and cultivate a strong, healthy home. Not only did it bless me as a mom, but it is now at the top of my list for recommended resources for mothers.Â
This book is sure to help you develop beautiful, deeply meaningful and intentional relationships with your children. I definitely recommend it!Â
Other Thoughts:
While I like the idea of the coloring pages (I am an avid colorer and adore my inspirational coloring books), it’s not super practical. This may work for you right-handers, but as a leftie, I would never be able to comfortably color the pages in the book and it would drive me crazy to try. My daughter would love to color them, but they aren’t perforated so I can’t tear them out nicely. Alas, they will forever remain white, which is a shame because they are beautifully done and inspirational in nature.Â
Chapter One is filled with valuable information for those who don’t yet know Jesus, which is fantastic if you are giving this to a new mom who is not a follower of Christ yet. It is a wonderful testimony of the author’s life as well as very practical to help new believers. For me personally, I might have preferred that chapter at the end of the book as Chapter 2 is far more gripping, but I see why she placed it at the front, and love her heart for evangelism. If you are a dedicated follower of Christ, keep reading! I promise you will be glad you did!Â

I love the idea of becoming a better mom! We can all use helpful tips to change some things, right?!?! The best part about being a mom is when the kids tell me that they love me, even on our hard days! When we all have the love of Jesus..it truly shows!!
The best part of being a mom right now is the grandbabies they are giving me. I don’t know how to explain it but I love my kids but my grandbabies got me by the heartstrings. I am helping my daughter raise her daughter and I honestly don’t know wat I would being doing right now if it wasn’t for her. She’s my sweet pea and I love her to the moon and back forever and always.
I love seeing their personalities come out when they’re smiling babies.
